It became my worst and most overpriced food experience in the Azores, sadly enough. The atmosphere was nice, it looked like many locals were enjoying, staff was friendly. But seafood there is way to costly for being so bad: shrimps felt still cold inside (I would not be surprised if they were just microwaved), had absolutely no sauce on them (!), and were covered with a lot of chopped fried garlic that tasted absolutely nothing (guess it was also precooked). Octopus was overcooked, no "juiciness" in the "meat" and no taste, and also covered with a sheer amount of same tasteless fried garlic. My husband's steak was overcooked and tasteless, also with no sauce whatsoever and covered with the same chopped fried garlic. It costed 50 euros, and the best part of that lunch was beer.
