After reading the reviews about tours going to Os Moinhos for their island tour lunch, we were a little sceptical about it being a very traditional local restaurant. So, going for a dinner was a HUGE surprise at what a cozy and quaint experience it was.!!! This renovated old water mill (Os Moinhos means The Mills) has been beautifully restored to make you feel comfortable, as though you are visiting family. Our server, Adalgisa certainly helped make us feel at home with her friendly and attentive service.
There was a good selection of meat and seafood, and our pork kebabs and Ling fish dinners were fabulous.! Very good Douro wine was the "house" wine! and even the "pudding cake" was a nice treat for dessert...
All in all, this was a very reasonable dinner and would easily rank as one of the best 2 or 3 dinners on the island.
It is a little difficult to find, but l highly recommend having a wonderful dinner at...

Then the kid was encourage to shout louder, the phone was used for loud videos (that’s at the same time as shouting both from the adults and the child...no one was listening to one another but they were terrorizing the room.
I had to leave after one course. There was no way to continue eating with...
