A mix of a traditional Azorean restaurant and a more upscale place. When you arrive, you first have to pass the snackbar terrace to go towards the restaurant entrance. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

Traditional dishes include grilled fish in a tile (the tile actually comes from Madeira). One big tile can be shared by two people. They also have a couple of dishes which most kids like (spaghetti as well as the full menu from the snackbar).

You get a tablet at your table to go through the digital menu and order the food and drinks that you want. Personally I prefer to talk about the menu with the staff and order it directly from them. Now every guest has to go through the whole menu and some items are not easy to find (e.g. a single glass of wine). That doesn't finish the quality of the food, so just a...

We stayed 4 days in Terceira, and this is the best restaurant we tried on the island. Food is very tasty and served in a traditional, unique way. There are plenty of options and all are worth trying. We went for local fresh cheese, grilled shrimps, octopus and squids. All was simply amazing. The people working here are so welcoming and available for help. As per wine, we went for a great local option (from Pico, another island). Service is really great: ask for Bruno, he’s been so nice with us, answering questions and took time to explain dishes and wine options in fluent english. We had the most amazing dinner experience of our stay in Terceira. Prices are good, we spent little more than average due to the wine choice, which can makes the difference. We’ll come back for sure if we’ll visit...

Great restaurant which serves lovely local food. While enjoying your food on the beautiful terrace or inside the veranda you have a really stunning ocean view. The staff speaks excellent English.

You can order through an ipad, which my boyfriend and I found very convenient. There are pictures of the food, so you have an idea about the dishes you can order. We loved O Rocha so much we had dinner here twice. Loved the grilled limpets and the grilled shrimp as a starter, but the star of the evening were the tiles. I ordered octopus which was served nice and hot in a clay tile. It was so good I just ordered it again the second time.

Staff was friendly and helpful and recommended us some local wine with our food.

Highly...
