Delicious!!! What others say is true. The man serving us spoke as much English as we speak Portugese, which is pretty much none. But he was friendly and patient with us. There were no menus, just the menu written on the chalkboard. We attemped to translate the menu with Google Lens but still didn’t really understand what was on offer. So we just ordered a few dishes. They were served family style and all turned out to be authentic and amazing. Best meal we’ve had in a while. Our picky eater enjoyed the bread served as an appetizer. He then ran down and played in the river while we enjoyed a leisurely and tasty meal with the scenic backdrop of the river and charming village in the background....

The food was amazing! We had some goat stew, with plenty of salad, fries and rice, all delicious, plus a bottle of wine, a beer or 2 for my husband and deserts for both, all €45.
