Tasca Picão — Restaurant in Cabeceiras de Basto

I was there with friends, and we had a great time. Excellent food, great quantity, quality, and price. This is a family restaurant; all staff were very friendly and helpful. Mr. Picão is the owner and the meat served in the restaurant is from his farm nearby. By the end of our meal the owner came by our table and asked if we wanted desert, we were full from all the food but he still offered us some orange with honey and some wonderful appetizers: 3 types of bagaço (Portuguese alcohol beverage) for us to try. After that Mr. Picão gave us a tour on his farm, showed us his cows, pigs, dogs and by the end offered us another beer to accompany the wonderful conversation. He made us feel very welcome. Como classificar este local, ora bem, chego às 8 da manhã e sou acolhido por três cães ( um cão pastor , raçado de pit e sem raça), que saltam a cerca, que se atiram aos meus pneus. Apito para os tentar afastar e tento falar com alguém. Vem uma sra idosa que diz que os cães pertencem ao sr pitão e que não faz mal as pessoas ( ora essa), mas aos outros cães... Isso porque eu trazia o meu cão de companhia. Afasto uns metros o meu carro, bem a frente da igreja ela vou fazer o trilho da torrinheira com o meu cão. Quando termino o trilho pergunto a um senhor, que por sua vez , coincidência, era o Sr Picao, que lhe questiono se posso passar e ele diz que sim. Mas que não preenderia o seus cães nem sequer queria saber e virou me costas. Ora essa ... Portanto. Um momento que seria de desfrutar do sítio e depois almoçar lá. Não , peguei no meu cão e pus me ao caminho. Bem haja para esses pensamentos e que nada corra mal com outras...
