Começando pelo ponto positivo: a comida estava excelente! A escolha foi o bife do Pojadouro, que surpreende pelo tamanho generoso. A carne veio no ponto perfeito, macia e suculenta, acompanhada de brócolis e batatas — uma combinação equilibrada e muito bem servida, ideal para duas pessoas. Nesse quesito, nada a apontar: delicioso e bem apresentado.

Por outro lado, o atendimento deixou a desejar. Fomos recebidos por uma senhora bastante seca e pouco empática, o que infelizmente impactou negativamente a experiência. Houve demora no atendimento, e ao solicitar educadamente o menu enquanto ela limpava a mesa (já que estava ali ao nosso lado), a resposta foi ríspida e desnecessária, alegando que devíamos esperar pois outras pessoas tinham chegado primeiro — o que é justo, mas poderia ter sido dito de forma mais cordial, ainda mais considerando que a solicitação não interrompia nenhuma ação.

Para piorar, a mesa que chegou após nós foi atendida antes, e a refeição deles chegou muito mais rápido. Deu claramente a impressão de que, por não sermos clientes habituais ou conhecidos, o tratamento foi menos atencioso.

Devido à demora e ao clima desconfortável, acabamos não pedindo sobremesa, e o café foi tomado em pé no balcão, durante o pagamento, pois estava a trabalho na cidade e não podia me atrasar mais.

Conclusão: a comida realmente vale a pena — sabor, porção e qualidade excelentes. Mas o atendimento precisa de uma atenção urgente. Um bom prato pode ser ofuscado por uma má recepção. Torço para que seja algo pontual e que a casa repense esse aspecto tão importante da experiência...

Yummy food, Lovely service! We ordered two dishes - Bacalhau A Lagareiro and Perca No Forno (Perch in the oven). The serving portions are large. There was no room in my tummy for the yummy looking bread (pão) which I understand is delicious. We finished the meal with a cup of Portuguese coffee (cafe). The fact that the staff (Adrianna, Joanna & Marianna) speak English with a smile is a clincher. :)

PS For the next visit I will leave some room in my tummy for the desserts, soups...
