Lovely place with typical and absolutely delicious portuguese food. Not expensive and the owner is one of the nicest and most sympathetic persons I've ever found at a restaurant. He made sure that everything was to our liking and served us a ginja and two regional pastries in the end. This is a must go if you're in Caldas da Rainha

Nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant car c'est le plus proche de notre location. Ma famille et moi avons été chaudement accueillis, bien que nous ne parlons aucun mot de portugais, un jeune serveur a fait de son mieux pour communiquer en anglais avec nous. Dans l'ensemble, les plats sont très généreux, à l'arrivée des desserts, j'étais le seul qui avait encore faim, j'ai pris un dessert au chocolat, une mousse ou une crème, je ne saurais dire, mais c'était vraiment bon je vous l'assure. Ce fut une très bonne expérience, nous y retournerons sûrement durant le séjour. En effet nous y sommes retournés, cette fois ci nous avons eu un serveur qui maîtrisait parfaitement le français, merci à lui! Toujours aussi satisfait de ce restaurant!

A mid week evening out with friends. We all had different meals and we were all delighted with the food, flavours and Gloria's service. We all had desserts and shared garaff's of red and white wine. All at the bargain price of €60. Miguel brought us Ginja and small pastries to finish the evening off. This place is a bit off the beaten track but definitely worth the visit. This is a lovely cafe situated in Torre which is a friendly village on the edge of Caldas da Rainha. The cafe is frequented by a mix of locals and folk from away. There is always a friendly greeting. Good food, nicely served. They have a nice outside eating area where you can sit and watch the world go by and also inside "cafe" seating and a more formal dining area if you want to enjoy an...

Fantastic café and restaurant just outside Caldas da Rainha for those looking for an authentic, Portuguese experience. Very friendly and helpful owners who welcome you whether you´re there for a 3 course meal or just a coffee and cake.
