My anticipation for dining at this highly recommended spot in Madeira turned into utter disappointment when we arrived only to find the doors shut. Google Maps confidently suggested they were open, fueling our excitement for what was promised to be a memorable meal. This misinformation not only wasted our time but also marred our day, leaving us scrambling for last-minute alternatives.

The lack of communication or a simple update on their business hours online reflects poorly on their management and customer service ethos. It's basic courtesy to ensure potential patrons are not left in the lurch, especially in a destination where every meal counts towards the travel experience. This oversight shows a disregard for customer convenience and satisfaction.

Furthermore, upon trying to reach out for clarification, there was no response nor any sign of apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. It's disheartening when establishments fail to value or respect their customers' time and plans.

This experience has left a sour taste, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant to others. In today’s digital age, where information is readily available and easily updated, there’s no excuse for such lapses. Best home made food I've ever experienced. I have had crumbed chicken with fries and salad. Chicken was very soft and French fries were fresh home made. Fomos almoçar e pedimos um bolo no caco, uma posta de atum e uma espetada. O bolo no caco foi feito microondas, e aparentava não ser do dia. Todo o comer foi descongelado no microondas (ouvíamos o microondas a trabalhar recorrentemente inclusive) e não é o que se espera de um restaurante. O atum não era fresco e não estava saboroso. A carne da espetada também não tinha boa qualidade (era claramente descongelada à pressa) e era disfarçado pelo molho que eles colocaram por cima. Relativamente ao serviço também não foi nada agradável. O empregado entornou uma das nossas bebidas e nem ofereceu outra. Depois a limpar a mesa atirou as migalhas para o meu colo. Estava pouco atento ao serviço pelo que ficávamos imenso tempo a tentar chamá-lo (a sala estava vazia) e a equipa da cozinha fazia imenso barulho. Não...
