4 weeks on the island. 6 locations. We ate out every night including a Michelin recommended in Funchal (which was great). But... the kebab here... wow! Sooooo good! Great staff. Great location. I really think making the effort to visit this little town and this bar is so worth it! There is a trendy bar we ate at in the next town (where we stayed) where kids pump loud tunes over people sunbathing all day. This wins hands down. Loved it. Extremely nice bar with delicious dishes – incredible!! We were there as a family. Note: no reservations, but it's totally worth it. We went back in the evening for a few drinks and it was just as good. Highly recommend it – if you get the chance to try their homemade passion fruit ice cream, it’s a must 👌

The restaurant looks really nice and the food looks great, but unfortunately we did not have a good experience. When we entered the restaurant the staff ignored us and we had to ask ourselves if there was a table available. We sat down and waited for 15 minutes and still not got a menucard. Waiters were passing us but none looked at us. Other guests that entered later did get a menu card and the waiter took their orders. We decided to walk away and go to another restaurant as we did not feel welcome.
