A small village family joint, all the local farmers go for lunch here. Surprisingly one of the best dinning experiences in Azores through our 3 week trip. Maybe because the food is made with love and feels homemade. Everybody speaks english at some degree. Had limpets, parrotfish and tuna, which were tasty. The atmosphere is a local experience, don’t expect something fancy or etc

Friendly staff and fairly attentive. Food was good. We had the grilled limpets and Sao Jorge cheese as appetizers to share. Food came with large basket of bread. 1€ mini bock beer (200 ml). Espresso and a Sao Jorge pastry to finish €28 for 2

Absolutely loved being here, its a family business were you feel like home and they have their own cows, so the meat is super good! The food is made with love and sweat! I absolutely recomend trying the "Bitoque"!

Family restaurant, realy nice service and local atmosphere. We shared a great (great) cow rib and the best limpets we had in the whole trip. Another plus is that, unlike most of the restaurants on the island, this one does not close after lunch. Go,...

When I come here I feel like I'm home. Their food is from their own production (meat, vegetables, etc), and it is super tasty because of it. The family that owns this place is also super friendly and are always happy to help and welcome you with a...
