Restaurante Pedro Laceiras - Petz Bar — Restaurant in Carregal do Sal

We went back to Petz Bar with the family after visiting in 2020 and enjoying our meal! We arrived at Petz Bar and were greeted by the wife of the restaurant who kindly welcomed us. She asked us very nicely to wait while she prepared a table for us, and within minutes we were seated. We had a young baby with us, so eating out can be a challenge, but both the husband and the wife were amazing with our little boy, especially the wife who took the time to interact with him, identifying his needs and being so helpful, even though they were short-staffed as it was only her and her husband that day. Typical portuguese food very well cooked and tasty. Generous doses, i can say that each dose can be serve to three persons. Very friendly and helpful staff always asking and offering more portions. The restaurant doesn't have a menu. The waiter tell us what they have at the moment. They have a big variety of starters and dishes, all delicious and of the best. The "polvo à lagareiro" was divine! The "picanha" was magnificent! Everything was very good. And the biggest surprise was the price, more or less then ten euros per person :) the quantity appears as one unit independently...

My wife and I had a fantastic experience here! The staff were very friendly and suggested typical Portuguese dishes for us to try. They even brought out a sample of different sausages for me to explore on the house. The food was excellent and the overall atmosphere was lovely, with plants surrounding you in the outdoor setting.
