Burger King — Restaurant in Castelo Branco

So this Burger King just opened like all new openings there are bumps. Getting the wrong order nacho bites instead of chili cheese bites. I take it with a giggle It's fast food after all.

However today was truly a new experience and nothing in good way. The person running the king drive, She's one of those persons that doesn't speak English and finds that everyone in Portugal should speak Portuguese. Normally when I politely ask if I can order an English one of the employees that speaks English takes over and takes my order. This time however she proceeded to ignore me. When I then drove to the window she hid around the corner. Then finally a collegue noticed me and try to help me. She then quickly proceeded to the window and talked in loud Portuguese apparently saying that I had to go around and reenter the drive this all while her colleague was actually trying to help me in English he was visibly uncomfortable with the situation and being placed in the middle. She then just walked away I had enough and proceeded to McDonald's.

I understand I'm a guest in this country I'm in a immigrant, unfortunately I do not speak Portuguese yet I always politely ask if I can speak English. This just feels like discrimination, Burger King apparently does not like foreigners to eat with them.

Anyways maybe Clecia Frederica had a bad day I don't know but she shouldn't be...

There is no employee who speaks English. Even though I said I did not speak English, they tried to speak Portuguese to me, but they were not helpful at all. They served my 10 euro menu at 10.30 without my knowledge. When I asked why, they said something in Portuguese again and the woman at the cash register took the card in my hand and made it read to the POS device, yes, she really did something like that... And then they added extra ketchup for no reason and I paid extra money just for that. I wanted a meat burger menu and when I got home and opened it, I realized that they gave me a completely different menu. I paid for a completely different menu with bread/meat/ingredients.

...I was not satisfied at all, I will always go to McDonalds from now...

I have been to Burger King Forum many times before and even posted how fresh the food was. However 8th December 11.46am order horrible. There was a bag of chips on the fryer already cooked. It was odds on either me or my husband got these. It was me. His were lovely and fresh. Mine disgusting. But the cheeseburgers for both of us also fell short of the mark.
