This restaurant's food is amassing!

This is a small restaurant in the mountain where your phone will likely not have service. At a first glance it does not seam to have much to offer. It has outside sitting with a gorgeous country view, but the inside is simple and it looks cheap. But do be fooled but its simplest looks!

The staff is nice, (even if they don't seam to be right away). But the food is awesome! This is due to the fact that the majority of the ingredients are locally produced by local farmers and livestock producers.

And to top it all of, the prices are very low.

This is not a fancy restaurant, by far. But the food quality, the prices and the view make it worth the visit.

This family business offers you a fresh meat or fish dish of the day, for only €8 during lunch time. Soup, one drink, and coffee included. Next to that, you can order great beef, steak, porc, veal, traditional saussage, bacalhau or turkey. Order some salted vegetables (legumes salgados) or salad as a side dish. The owner speaks english, german and some french too. The whole staff is very friendly and kind. Don't expect any modern, trendy dish here, but experience the simple, good, honest tastes of the portugese kitchen!
