We tried for a seated dinner, and waited 1hr for a bottle of water, waiters valiantly try to remember the order in English without a notepad (not a good idea to start with, then fail miserably). It’s a tiny island importing food from the larger Flores, so over half the menu was unavailable (including simple things like hamburgers and beer). Went back to try for lunch experience, as we heard that was their bread and butter, it’s supposed to be a buffet service, but at 3pm we hit a closed kitchen and no luck getting any food at that point. The restaurant and the bakery are actually two distinct businesses, which is visually unclear and was not explained. Simple and well done 😋 19,50€ plus something as a "thank you " ☺️. They do have a buffet type for 17€, soup , main dish (pork or fish, rice, fries, veggies, coffee and a drink.
