The place has a good spot near the beach, but it's the only good thing about it. We asked for our daughter a very small portion of yogourt and fruit, as she is a 2 years old baby. The waitress told us "ok sure", but they brought the full breakfast which was obviously far too much for her. When we asked to pay half price because we didn't requested that much, we were told that they don't do "half size" even for baby and that we have to pay full price. I have to say that the problem didn't come from the waitress but from the owner who didn't even want to consider our request, and was not pleasant at all. Also the food wasn't great. Read moreWe were visiting for the weekend and the weather was very showery (understated!), we found Peppermint while walking the coast path and were so happy with the warm welcoming restaurant overlooking the waves crashing on the beach. The menu was the next surprise, so varied and with interesting vegan options. We both chose a chicken salad which was Beautifully presented and with so many flavours! We also both a carrot cake (not on menu) which although not quite what I had expected was very nice to finish with. Much as I enjoy portuguese food it is great to find a place that is a little more adventurous! We will definitely be visiting...

For €12 you receive a bowl that is not filling at all. When you ask if there are possibilities to add more veggies, they tell you it is possible but you have to pay an additional fee. Other restaurants I have visited in this area offer a full menu, including soup, bread, a delicious warm meal, and a drink for less than €10.
