3/9/23 - Another visit to this great little rustic restaurant prawn cataplana this time followed by Portuguese rice pudding & chocolate mousse. Excellent again and we will be back before we go home.👍 Visited twice first time we had Cataplana with prawns and clams...just fantastic! Second visit was mixed meat and spare ribs again delicious. Back next year for more!!😋

Best local restaurant! The owner Therese is very friendly, welcoming and knows best what you would like to have. We always order the Camarão, ameijoas and frango piri piri. After our second visit she already knows what we would like to order. That is what hospitality stands for! We definitely see you next year! All the best from the Dutch family

Family run restaurant, with amazing food, from peri peri chicken to grilled fresh fish! An amazing, away from the tourist hotspots, location with great value for money food and drink. Highly recommend the home made deserts, especially the chocolate mousse. We visited each year on our holiday, for the past decade.

Oh my god. The BEST. Honestly maybe my favourite restaurant in the whole entire world. The pork ribs, the juicy chicken, the beautiful hand-cut, slightly oily and under salted but perfect Portuguese chips. A classic local, but clean tomato and lettuce mixed salad. Lovely family who run it. The main man on the grill whose name is yet to be known… we call him the grillmaster and his lovely smiling wife assisting him throughout the place. Their son running the operations on the floor and a perfect Portuguese local vibe on the side of what feels like a small motorway. The food is wonderful, the service is perfect and the price is fair. I can’t wait to go back- my favourite...

Very Portuguese atmosphere, but used to, and friendly towards, tourists. If you want barbecued meat or fish, it's very well known.

Part of the fun used to be the scarily blunt boss, but over the twenty years I've been eating here at least once a month she's mellowed. Also the small children milling around are now the adult staff (I think we call that "family run").

No dogs on patio, probably my fault for bringing too many psycho...

Great local restaurant with fresh meat and fish cooked from the grill and lovely homemade desserts. We visited early on a Friday as we had a flight the next day- early crowd seemed to be mostly be tourists and then filled with Portuguese . It was busy which I’d say is a good sign - for a family of four with drinks and desserts it came to 60 euros which was good value. Car park was full by the time we...
