Must have been in another restaurant to the people above because the service was appalling. We waited and waited while others came after us and got served before and went for the next and the next and the next. One waiter kept asking us, went to find someone and he did this several times but still no service! After this, the food we were recommended was tough as a boot and after not asking for starters, we were made to pay a bill for the starters and then the manager was extremely rude and belligerant even though we paid the bill as good will. Awful!!! Not a good...

Local food without fuss. It's a short story from the airport and hands down one of the nicest meals we have had. It was very buswt when we arrived and only a few of the staff spoke English, but the ones we spoke to regardless weren't lovely. We arrived just after lunch was finishing but they kept the place open for us to finish the food we had ordered and we wweet not made.ro feel that we had inconvenienced them at all. It took a bit longer as we have to go get cash. They do not take any card payments. That said the food was excellent...

Great find for lunch whilst out car hunting. Usual covers, bottle of still water, bitoque for me, entremeada (pork belly) for my wife, coffee to finish less than €25. Very tasty food, served quickly and very attentive staff (most speak English as well as Portuguese). If you are on your way back from the airport and are looking for a good lunch, try this place. It's a little out of the way (nothing that SatNav/Google maps can't handle) but worth the diversion...
