3L's Restaurante — Restaurant in Grândola

We called 15 minutes ahead and reserved a table for 4.we got there and they had a wonderful table set up for us right at the front. Our server spoke perfect English, and we were able to order everything we liked and got a wonderful suggestion, which was a bread mixed with sausage, apparently a local specialty that tasted wonderful, and my kids loved it too. Initially, we thought tap us were very small and we over order a bit, but everything was worth every penny, and we are happy. We tried quite a few different things. Duck croquettes were super good as well as the octopus salad. The portions were quite large, and that is wonderful as it made us full, which was what we were looking for at the very end. The waiter came and offered us two local liquors to try with a smile and they were both excellent. I highly recommend visiting this...

We were on our way from Porto to Algarve and decided to take a break in Grandola, a small town. We happened to stop at a family restaurant called 3L’s. Excellent service, food was authentic Portuguese. Everyone spoke English well and were very welcoming. The dishes were explained well. We had leftovers which we asked them to pack for us. Then we asked if they had a plastic fork which we could take. The owner looked for one but could not find one. He then went out of the way and wrapped a stainless steel fork in a paper napkin for us. We offered to pay for it and he would not take anything for it. Who does that? That’s so thoughtful and caring . Strongly recommend 3L’s to anyone in the area. Great job guys. There is good food... and then there is beautiful food, food that makes you happy ❤️ They have created an oasis of good food with thoughtful local ingredients and combined them in a twist of originality, and I am glad they took the risk! We followed João's recommendations except one, the Prego, because "I can eat one anywhere"- I said... and then returned the following day after checking out, just to also try the Prego... 🫠 and it was truly truly truly amazing and a special cut of meat that only someone who really cares, can even come up with! Sat at the counter and we were treated like home away from home... As I said: happy! We are sure to send people their way, and I wish them all the success...
