Maroto — Restaurant in Grândola

The restaurant is part of the stunning Independente Comporta. The food is delicious ( just the squid was a bit raw). The atmosphere is enjoyable and pleasant. Just think the individual tables are too close. The service is kind and polite. The surroundings are breathtaking and peaceful. Highly recommended.

Obs- It was hot, and some mosquitos around. One mosquito decided to swim into my glass of wine, so I called the waiter ( he was starting his internship) to bring me another one. His first reaction was to tell me that I had to pay... from that moment, I saw him putting lids in all glasses. I didn't complain, paid the glass of wine, but I advertise the manager.. I knew it was a mistake from the new internship and not a rule of the restaurant, making the clients pay for wine with mosquitos. After my third visit, I have to say ghis is currently the best and the most consistent restaurant in the whole Comporta area. Serving Portuguese classics with modern twist, everything is well thought out. I feel like people working in the kitchen really care about the food and staff is always very helpful and nice (ordering in english could be a bit chaotic though 😁). I recommend the beef tartare, mussels, squid and ofc the chicken (with coriander rice as a side). Finish it of with their grilled strawberries (served with rice pudding). I’ll be happy to...

O Restaurante é espetacular em termos de decoração e ambiente mas tudo o resto tem de melhorar seriamente para puderem praticar os preços que praticam. A começar por o atendimento ter sido feito na totalidade em inglês (muito simpática mas impensável não dizer uma palavra em português). Sentaram nos na única mesa que tinha o abajour partido quando fomos dos primeiros a chegar, pedimos um vinho a copo que não tinham, ofereceram outro em troca e não mencionam que é 5 euros mais caro o copo. Pior é que uma garrafa em que o copo custa 11 euros é aberta com o auxílio do joelho e sem é apresentada antes. Serviço lento. Prato principal que eram polvo com Migas e secretos de porco veio com o porco totalmente cru no centro apesar de vir fatiado. Resposta :aqui serve-se assim. Lamento mas em primeiro lugar não se servem pontos de carne mal passados sem informar o cliente em restaurante algum, segundo porco mal passado não se serve em momento algum. É algo muito grave o que aqui aconteceu. Em compensação o couvert era excelente e a sobremesa também apesar de que era apresentada como creme brulee e na realidade era um leite creme.

O restaurante tinha aberto há dois dias, muitas situações tratam-se apenas de formação contudo, o responsável de sala não se dignar a falar com os clientes quando os mesmos notoriamente estavam insatisfeitos é lamentável.

No final, ao pedir a conta foi entregue uma folha de papel escrita à mão como se fosse uma comanda dizendo que a impressora não funciona...
