Now this was something else! We were just passing when we ran into this little place and got the best meal we've ever had in Portugal. As an appetizer we were offered moelinhas (gizzards) which we would never have ordered ourselves and it was just amazing! The hamburger in a special sauce looked fabulous, Prego no Prato (basically a low steak with fries and fried egg) that usually tastes like tough leather in most cafés was fantastic - medium rare and delicious. Salads (we had a mixed salad and a tuna salad) were super fresh and tasty. Homemade desert sent us to our knees. Plus wonderful Portuguese wines and reasonably good coffee. The waiter was charming, helpful and extremely nice. It's a must visit if you're anywhere near! We absolutely loved it and the last thing that hit us was the price of the feast we just had - each main dish was around 8-9 euros which felt ridiculously cheap for the quality. Give it a go if...
