Definitely an excellent choice in the area, one of the best restaurants. Amazing food quality, fantastic decoration and attendance. Dont miss it! The price range is around 35-40euros per person, including a starter, 1 main menu and dessert. The smashed eggs are a must try and the codfish an especially. The place around the restaurant is a little bit in the middle of nowhere but you will not regret this experience.

Se procura requinte, qualidade, um local que não vai lhe sair da mente. Então, estamos a falar do restaurante S. GIÃO. Já experimentei alguns pratos de carne, peixe e devo dizer que são mesmo muito bons. Na verdade, não tenho mesmo nada a apontar. Se forem no inverno tem o prazer de poder sentir o aconchego que uma lareira no centro da sala traz ao local. Mesmo muito acolhedor! Para não falar do excelente profissional que nos serve. Sempre muito atento. Experimentem esta sobremesa de maçã com gelado de maçã. É sublime. Recomendo vivamente que experimentem!

It is very difficult to add anything new to the comments already made. The fact remains that this is a TRULY excellent restaurant in an unusual location. The food is first class, using local produce and giving a fresh twist to Portuguese cuisine. We dined here twice and enjoyed fish, beef and pasta dishes. All were perfect. A house wine recommendation did not disappoint - as it should be, the house stakes its name and reputation on it. An excellent wood aged white in the Barrica style - a dream. Profiteroles, lemon tiramisu all added to an excellent experience. Service is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional.
