Suzy is a wonderful lady!! She runs it by herself, with 2 kitchen staff! It’s so wonderful what kind of food they can make and the experience they can create with such limited assistance! It felt like we were catered to personally, and I know that’s how everyone around us also felt!

The bread and azorean cheese with home made jam was a delicious starter! I had the beef goulash and it was TO DIE FOR! My friends had both the normal and vegetarian Rosti, and the chicken steak! We had deserts and local liquor and eveyrhing was so adorable for what we ate!!

There were three lovely cats, all so friendly!! This was definitely a must go!!!

All together, I shared a starter, had main and desert, 2 drinks and a liquor and it cost me 33€!! Absolute STEAL!!

Every thing about this place is just perfect! Apart from a great view (the place with its terrace is located right by the ocean), we tried dishes and experienced cooking quality you wouldn’t expect to get in a small village! Absolutely amazing! A host of the restaurant - a charming lady Susi was so friendly and hospitable with us, so we felt rather like visiting a friend. We haven’t found on the island anything as good as this place , we ate in many other places in Madalena too though. These guys love their business and clients and share their passion with their food...

A beautiful restaurant with a spectacular view. A German couple owns the place and it is stunning. If you are looking for one of the best restaurants - if not the best restaurant - on Pico island..this is the place to go. There is a lot of attention to detail and the service is very nice as well. And the ice cream is from heaven! You have to make it here if you are traveling...
