I have nothing to say about the food, because we were unable to get any. Tried to call 4 times on 2 different days at different times, nobody ever picked up, so we just tried to go anyway. We get there only to be told everything is booked full and they don't have room for us while not even half of the restaurant is filled. Fortunately the lady was very helpful and told us no other restaurants would have room at this time, but there was a bar with good food down the road. So we look it up on google maps. Turns out this "bar with good food" is their own bar (which she completely failed to mention) and was not a place to have a sit-down dinner at all. Read moreMy husband and I dined outside for dinner on their patio under the green canopy of subtropical trees last week. We ordered the octopus for two and a bottle of vinho verde. The octopus was super tender and packed with flavor from the other ingredients; the smoky chouriço, onions, garlic and olive oil. Potatoes were also in there to soak up the deliciousness, and the dish also came with a side of sautéed vegetables. The bright acidity from the vinho verde complimented perfectly. I called and they said that we need to call back the day before. We called the day before and they told us that it was all booked for that day. They said that people at the hotel have first priority. Why didn’t they say that before when we called 3 days before. Bad communication on their part. We were there 2 years before and everything was excellent.
