I think we had a different experience than most here, as our friend knew the owners and we had a private room with an absolutely incredible leitão experience.

The place is very unassuming, not a very attractive facade, but our leitão was perfect with all the traditional fixings, and we brought our own wine.

I recommend you go here with someone who knows the place, as I could see it being a different experience if you just walked in. It's not cheap, but not expensive either. Had I drove past here, I never would have imagined it...

Good old fashion Portuguese dinner, they specialise in the local dish of suckling pig it comes with home made potato crisps that are to die for, and not much good for the waistline. Try a roast pig (or just a half) on Sundays to enjoy at home with the famil, it's a great treat, but do order ahead of time as they are prepared...

Éramos 9, pedimos picanhas e bifes à Pinto. Todos os pratos eram claramente aquecidos pela 2ª vez e mesmo assim vieram todos frios. A qualidade da picanha em si deixava muito a desejar, o feijão e o arroz estavam em papa é igualmente frios. O tempero da salada tinha um sabor estranho. Todos os que pediram bife à Pinto queixaram-se que o molho era demasiado enjoativo rasparam-no para o lado para conseguirem comer a carne.
