Steak house Dom Duarte — Restaurant in Leiria

We have family near Dom Duarte and we always take the opportunity to visit the restaurant every time we visit Portugal. We absolutely love it here and we always have a big family dinner with the signature chicken and steak dishes and they always have a range of delicious desserts. The prices here are very reasonable as well, so you don’t need to spend a fortune to have a great evening and meal. There was 8 of us all having mains and most of us with dessert, plus many drinks and several bottle of wine etc etc and the total was only 260 euros. This restaurant is very busy most evenings and they also have a take away option located on the side of the main restaurant, I would suggest booking if you go. They have a couple of staff with some level of English but ideally much easier if you have someone who could speak Portuguese or Spanish?? They have a very good sized free parking area outside...

Very good restaurant and typical Churrasqueira food, very modern and cozy with gentle staff and great taste. Perfect for a business lunch and high quality food. Love to return during my next stay and try more of their dishes. The staff is very gentle and makes the stay perfect. Also recommended are the desserts. Not as sweet as usual and great taste. Sou frequentador há alguns anos e com muita pena a qualidade começa a baixar. Tinham um arroz de miúdos maravilhoso, deixou de existir, na batata frita também existiu alguma alteração , já não é a mesma coisa , questionei um funcionário que confirmou a mudança, que para mim foi para pior. Não existe carta de vinhos, tenho de levantar-me da mesa para ir à montra, sabendo que é uma sala de vinhos temperada que é excelente, contudo é incomodo . A comida no geral é boa , mas não espetacular como no passado. O porco preto não é grande coisa e teve de ir para trás pois tinha tanto sal que foi impossível comer. Achei muito tempo desde o pedido a vinda da comida, foram uns agonizantes 75minutos , a ver a comida passar para todas as mesas á volta quando fui dos primeiros a entrar no restaurante.
