Extremely average and extremely over priced. Please do not waste your time here and go over to Izzy’s or Dunes for a much better experience.
We came for lunch for 4 people on a Saturday at 1pm - the restaurant was not busy.
The monkfish and prawn curry was like soup, so watery. Very little fish in it, and too much coriander all over it .
The monkfish in another dish was barely edible - jelly like texture so it had been undercooked on the verge of unsafe to eat.
The prawn and steak kebab - really bad portions for €28.
3 prawns, garlic butter that did not melt - and a few steak pieces that were not cooked well enough - blood was still visibly dripping and the centre was not warm.
The service was shocking - not what portugese people are normally like. They never asked us if we wanted anything extra, the whole place is very dead inside with no atmosphere.
The jug of sangria between four was a very small portion.
I would definitely not return again.
I have rarely had a bad meal in the Quinta do Lago area but this restaurant does a disservice to the area. Eduardos paradise? Eduardos misery!
The meal for 4 with one glass of sangria each came to approx €140 which...
Read moreI detoured my route from Faro to my hotel in Vilamoura looking for a place with view and service, so this place looked promising. On arrival, before getting a table I was asked what I’d like to order. When I said coffee and a desert, I was directed to sit outside. I wanted to sit inside. The man working said, they are fully booked. So I sat outside , drank my coffee and sweet, paid and left to walk on the beach. After a 30mins walk to rerun to my car the restaurant still had only three tables with customers and was mostly empty. I don’t understand what was the deal. Very disappointed! I bet if I was ordering mains, it’d be a...
Read moreWe were greeted with friendly service from the lady with the blue eyeliner, but the rest of the staff felt less attentive. After finishing our entrees, it took about 20 minutes for the plates to be cleared - even though we were the only diners there for an early dinner. The food itself was fine, but compared to what you can get next door at Zest, it felt unremarkable and overpriced. The real highlight here is the beautiful sea views, but unfortunately, everything else about the experience falls short of what you’d expect from a restaurant in such a...
