This place is a must stop if you are in the area. The best meat and the best seafood.We ordered the Spetada de Tamburil, which is fish and shrimp, it is a must have. I ordered the Picanha and it melted in my mouth. French fries were perfectly cooked and not the frozen kind. Pick your fish, they offer fresh salmon steaks, pork, cuts of beef and even Spetada mirandesa (like the Spetada Tamburil in the picture, but with meat) I died and went to heaven and couldn't get a pic. Absolutely incredible food. The service was exceptional, fresh, fast, friendly and absolutely delicious! The restaurant is family owned and run and it shows. There is no set menu and it's pretty much just locals that know about this gem. I got lucky and was taken there. Reservations are highly recommended in season because you can wait for a table for over an hour. It's December so it was still pretty full, but no wait for a table. One thing to keep in mind, they DO NOT TAKE FOREIGN CREDIT CARDS, only card issued from Portuguese banks, so take cash or a Portuguese local that has a local card. Falei com o proprietário para levar um grupo a qual foi acordado a comida, que seria mista de carne (por norma tem frango e salsicha,esta não trouxe) e preços. Seria mista com e sem picanha. Quem quisesse picanha pagaria o valor mais elevado que seria 20 eur. No dia do Serviço foi muito desorganizado, não perguntaram quem queria picanha, basicamente só trouxeram picanha a qual a maioria não comia. E queriam cobrar o valor da picanha a todos,não era justo,visto que a falha na organização foi deles. O Pão nas entradas tava duro. Proprietário falou em maus tons perto de outros clientes,após eu reclamar que o que estariam a cobrar não foi o combinado. Naturalmente que nao tem nada a ver com os euros a mais..mas não tiveram nada bem. E por essa razão não vou voltar mais ao restaurante. Nem sempre quem presta serviço tem habilidade de atender clientes. Simpatia e sinceridade falta...

This is my third time eating here, and I can’t get enough! If you’re really hungry, this place is addictive. The food is delicious, freshly cooked, and reasonably priced with generous portions. Plus, the staff is super friendly and always tries to communicate in English with a smile....
