The food at Á Maria is one of the best we have ever been eaten. The bachalao is great and the bochechas is the most tender and delicious meat we ever tasted.👌 People here, staff and guest are very friendly, and prices on food and drinks are excellent.

Tanto el lugar como la comida son auténticos, solo tenían dos platos, estofado de cordero y almejas con lomo de cerdo, todo acompañado de patatas fritas. Comida auténticamente casera. El restaurante no estaba muy lleno y el trato fue muy bueno y agradable.

Me encanta este bar/restaurante . Comida casera . La carrillada con patatas fritas naturales riquísima, ensalada fresca todas las verduras y el atún muy bueno . Recomiendo 100 % . Todo super limpio. Gracias por su comida tan buena y amabilidad.

Tanto el lugar como la comida son auténticos, solo tenían dos platos, estofado de cordero y almejas con lomo de cerdo, todo acompañado de patatas fritas. Comida auténticamente casera. El restaurante no estaba muy lleno y el trato fue muy bueno y agradable.

On our way from Spain to the Guadiana Natural Park, we stopped for lunch at this little restaurant. Nice, simple, very well prepared food for a very reasonable price. This was in 2018. Recently, during our trip around Portugal and Spain, we have lunch at A Maria again. Time stood still. Everything and everyone were exactly the same! Delicious lunch, regional recipes. A no go for vegetarians, I must admit. The self-made desserts...

The first and last restaurant in Portugal.... In a very good way too. Delicious food in a picturesque setting, at the end of the bridge forming the border with Spain. There were three dishes on offer on the Wednesday lunchtime we were there....salt cod baked in the oven, fried chicken and salad and lamb stew, which we had, served with homemade chips and tomato salad, topped off with a flan and a good cup of...
