Churrasqueira Povoense — Restaurant in Mafra

We arrived for lunch, and the restaurant was full, but a table was quickly prepared for us, and we were seated within 5 minutes. We were offered a tray to choose our starters… we opted for bread, olives, and fresh cheese. Meanwhile, with the menu in hand, we decided to order half a portion of grilled pork strips (lagartos) and half a portion of grilled pork cheek (bochecha), with salad and fries as sides. What a great choice! In less than 15 minutes, everything was on the table. The food was very tasty, and the portions were more than enough for two adults and a 6-year-old child. After eating and feeling more than satisfied, we decided to have dessert… (pudim de ovos e doce de amêndoa)and what a great idea that was! Everything was homemade and absolutely delicious. We asked for the bill, accompanied by a Portuguese coffee, reflecting on our experience, which was undoubtedly a place worth returning to for more wonderful flavors. This is a meat lovers kind of restaurant.

Is a typical rustic Portuguese restaurant. Very simple place. Wooden tables with wooden bench. (No chairs). It is all about the food!

It is a very busy place at lunch time. Many people take their lunch break and come here. It is noisy. My advice is to go at a later lunch time like 14h.

Péssimo atendimento, a proprietária do estabelecimento extremamente grosseira , arrogante, não precisa do meu dinheiro, já está rica , nao precisa nem do meu e nem do dinheiro de qualquwr cliente , e desdenhou do questionamento sobre o preço do café. Fomos reclamar do preço cobrado pelo café ela nos tratou com total desrespeito. 1,60 cada Café. Nem sequer na mais cara de Lisboa se paga esse preço num café. Mas o fato já foi isso , foi a forma da senhora gritar porque questionamos o preço. Ela expulsou meu marido de forma esrupida . A comida é muito boa , mas o atendimento da proprietária é vergonhoso. Nunca vi um proprietário de um estabelecimento tratar um cliente com tanto desrespeito. Não indico , já fui várias vezes e nunca mais piso nesse local .

Ela foi tão abusada que me disso , esse é o preço e pronto. Nem sequer escutou ou tentou ser o mínimo cordial. Zero empatia , nota zero.

Aprenda a tratar bem as pessoas . Eu si de casa p almoçar e saí com indigestão desse.lugar .
