O Evaristo — Restaurant in Mafra

O Evaristo is true to the best ingredients, both fish and meats and above all the most important ingredient, Love! The staff is kind and they clearly like what they do and the food fantastic! You wouldn’t notice from the street level but the place is big on the first floor with a nice view over the hills and Mafra palace in the distance. Do go in otherwise you would never know :) also check if they are open in the evening. I went twice for lunch and the place is clearly loved by locals who come from around, young to old or a longer lunch...

Não percebo como é que um espaço destes está aberto, sim porque a palavra funcionar aqui não se aplica de todo!! Gomos supostamente almoçar, pedimos a ementa e surpresa!!! Tivemos de esperar á vontade uns 15/20 minutos, isto porque estavam todas em uso!! Ementa essa wie era um germano A4 escrito á mão e apenas😵‍💫 pasmense 2 exemplares da dita!! Bom lá pedimos as refeições, chocolates assados s/ tinta e uma costeleta de vitela bem passada" SÓ COM SALADA", uma água fresca que veio naturalmente natural e foi sujeira a troca, uma super bock. Cerca se 40 minutinhos depois chegam os chocolate, e a costeleta com batata, arroz e só grelhada de um dos lados, pedi para passar melhor e recusei a oferta da salada wue me foi feita não fosse o diabo tecelão e demorar mais 40 mnts. Ora bem, mais ou menos 20 minutos depois veio a minha refeição e pasmem a gosyoleta virou picanha🤢 será demais ou não??? Claro pedi a conta pagamos os chocos, e a Sra da Caixa ainda questionou a costeleta que tinha sido servida?? Credo pensei que isto era impossível, se não fosse comigo acho que seria um pouco de invenção, mas acreditem!!! INFELIZMENTE É...

Simply the best! Amazing homemade food, great service and the price is spectacular! 10€ for a full menu, with bread and olives, soup, main dish, drinks (even wine), dessert and coffee!! The place is simple, not fancy, as it should be.

The food is really delicious and traditionally Portuguese. I'll def recommend this restaurant...
