Restaurante Xico & Xica — Restaurant in Marinha Grande

From the outside my 1st thought was “this is either going to be very bad or extremely good” and it is for sure more than amazing. We started off with some Moelas after being explained that the house’s concept was to share the food. They were superb! After that we moved on to a bife da vazia, cooked to perfection, with homemade fries and bean rice. Just WOW! For deserts we opted for the Delícia de Chocolate and a Cheesecake de Caramelo Salgado - both devine! Very friendly staff and accommodating as we arrived a bit early. Would highly recommended and will for sure be going back...

If you are in the area, you really, really should come to Xico and Xica's - we are on day 13 of 14 days in Portugal and this was head and shoulders above anything else we've had. It truly is that good.

Please do yourself a favour and come here. It started excellent and just kept getting better as more came out. We ended on the vegetable board, tuna steak, and batatas fritas and when our server asked how things were I only half jokingly said I wanted to kiss the chef. My heart and stomach left full, and my partner (who's vegan) had plenty of choices...

Amazing experience in Xico & Xica, tried soup, mixed grill and a piece special cut of beef, and all was exceptionally well cooked.
