Burguezia do Leitão — Restaurant in Mealhada

Good location close to a main route. Room was a very good size, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities are good, having both a bar and restaurant on site, making it a very good overnight stop.

Niggles: The hotel is on a hill and it looks like you should be able to access via either the ground floor or 1st floor through the bar. The ground floor contains a restaurant and what looks like it should be a hotel reception, but you can’t access the hotel this way easily on check in, you have to go into the 1st floor bar and check in at a small temporary table. You also can’t charge you restaurant meal to your room. Lastly there are no signs on the outside to say you must check in on the first floor, so if you park you transport on the lower levels of the car park you then have to get upstairs to check in…its just badly organised and feels disjointed.

Also, the aircon in the room had to be set to hot to run cold and cold to run hot…No problem that its set like this, but they should put a note to say it works the wrong way around rather than leave you to find a member of staff to ask why the air con is...

We stopped twice her for supercharge. If you are a tourist - the staff plays not speaking any other language (we tried Spanish, English, German) but Portuguese. We wanted to order their famous pork 1,5 kilo at the price of 66/kg. At the final check it was 6 portions of 300 gr at the price of 25 euro each with the argument that we served you extra salad and chips. Desde o primeiro contacto, a Burguezia dos Leitões demonstrou um profissionalismo exemplar. Tudo me foi sempre apresentado de forma clara e transparente, o que me deu imensa confiança.

Marquei um primeiro almoço para conhecer o espaço e fiquei rendido: as iscas de fígado de leitão estavam divinais, o leitão à Bairrada absolutamente delicioso e a sobremesa rematou a refeição na perfeição.

A equipa é fantástica, em especial a Administradora Mariana. Tive o prazer de conversar com ela para organizar a celebração da bênção das pastas do meu filho e fiquei muito agradado com o seu profissionalismo, simpatia e excelente capacidade de comunicação. A Mariana tornou todo o processo de planeamento super fácil.

Recentemente foi o grande dia do evento, e a verdade é que tudo estava impecável! O espaço onde estivemos era agradável e a mesa elegantemente arranjada. A dinâmica dos funcionários foi exemplar, e um dos pontos altos foi o corte do Leitão pelo chefe de cozinha à frente de todos os convivas – um verdadeiro espetáculo! E, o mais importante, a comida estava simplesmente excecional!
