Two days later and I’m still thinking about this place — without a doubt, one of the best value-for-money restaurants I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to quite a few).
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not just with food, but with warmth, soul, and genuine hospitality. The portions were generous, the dishes packed with flavour, and the local wine flowed beautifully — all at prices that almost felt too good to be true.
But what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere: the owners bring the space to life with their songs, laughter, and infectious energy. It felt like we were guests in a family celebration, not just customers at a restaurant.

The road to happiness needs to be paved, because it ends here at this well recognized and praised restaurant. It's a simple restaurant with simple Portuguese food. No fancy plating. Prices are very very very good!
Staff are simple, modest but truly efficient.
The owner creates an excellent mood... Music and stand up comedy...
Rooms are confortable and clean. Space is quite tiny, but cosy.
