Pimenta Verde — Restaurant in Montemor-o-Velho

I went here because it was very well recommended, but had a terrible experience and ended up leaving.

We entered and there was no one to host us, we waited a bit until a very staffed employee showed up, she had no way to host us so I asked if we could seat. We sat and a long time passed without getting menus she was busy in the kitchen. I ended up getting the menu by myself as all this happened no one of the people seated got attended. We simply decided to leave as we weren't up to wait a long time.

Im sure the restaurant is fantastic but it is surely understaffed.

Edit: My comment wasn't about human capability but management incapability, as the lady that tried to attend us was doing everything she could to give everyone a good experience. It was only her and the cook. I can't possible imagine how you can interpret what I wrote to mean that I expect a fast food service or that your only employee is justified to be over-working herself because you don't hire more people. A very unassuming looking restaurant from the outside, but very homey and pleasant on the inside. Six of us ate the dinner platter and all reached a comfortable satiety level.
