Excellent. Very authentic atmosphere, regional dishes with locally sourced ingredients. They gave us a small bottle of the fig leaf liquor at the end, on the house, which was absolutely delicious. The house wine is fantastic - they put it on the table in a full bottle, but you only pay for what you actually drink. Every dish that our party of 6 ordered left nothing to be desired: high quality, well seasoned, perfectly done. All at a reasonable price and with attentive service! I am new to Portugal and am learning to speak Portuguese. Regata has an English menu available and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The portions are large, the food very good, and after dinner there was a complementary tasting of their own homemade fig leaf liqueur. There is a small bar next door with a lovely seating area under the trees. Will certainly return. Lamb chops are highly recommended. The appetizers (meats,olives,bread)...

Greatly enjoyed this nice authentic Portugese restaurant with great service. It was very busy when I was there but they managed it all well.

The food was great with generous portions. I had the regional Alentejo soup which was tasty with garlic.

My main dish was a grilled veal entrecote which came with fries, rice and a nice salad. For desert I had a some nice pastries with coffee.
