Carvalhal Beach Nature — Restaurant in Odemira

Terrible. First of all, the only drinks you can order is either alcohol or fresh fruit or water. Secondly, I ordered a bifana and it was the smallest, blandest bifana I’ve ever had in Portugal, no flavour at all. You have to go to the counter to order and then take your dirty plates back up even though there were 4 or 5 staff members standing around doing nothing. In total we had 2 toasties, a bowl of, what the menu said was sweet potato fries but turned out to be crisps, a pint of beer and a water and it was €30!! An absolute rip off!! The location and ambiance at Carvalhal Beach

Nature are definitely its strong points - the setting is beautiful and relaxing, perfect for enjoying the beachside atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet expectations. The chicken sandwich was quite dry and lacked flavor, while the cheese and pesto sandwich came with burnt bread, which really affected the taste. Overall, the food was disappointing. The surf school that is included in the restaurant looks nice. Unfortunately our teacher let us do the warming up ourselves and did not give us instructions about how to improve our surfing skills. This was not a real lesson in our opinion and not worth the money. The teacher also told us it was not that hard to help him clean up, yet he thought it was very hard to help us...
