Great spot to enjoy traditional food near Almograve beach. It’s a cozy, family-run place mostly visited by locals, a bit hidden at the edge of a small village, but totally worth going. The monkfish and prawn cataplana was one of the best of our trip around Algarve and Alentejo — meant for 2 people but so generous it could easily feed 3. For dessert we tried the coconut quindim, really tasty but definitely for those with a sweet tooth! Very good value...

We found the restaurant by chance, after finding out that our reserved restaurant in Almograve had no meat left.
Although we arrived off hours, we were immediately directed to a table and promptly served. The requested food (meat) was OK, but the other guests' food (fish and seafood) seemed delicious.
