9& Meio — Restaurant in Oeiras

Fooled by the currently high score given to this place (4.2 as I'm writing this), I went there with a colleague for lunch during a weekday.

Well, the view is good. If not for the large road nearby, you could think you're in the country. Unfortunately the good part of this restaurant ends there.

As soon as you enter, you get a feeling that this is a small canteen. But ok, they do wait tables.

The main course I chose (pork leg) was semi-cold and covered with an industrial-looking tomato (?) sauce. It didn't taste better than it looked.

My colleahue had duck rice and it looked and tasted like something you take from a supermarket frozen food shelf.

So... one star for the view, another for the coffee. Avoid...

Unfortunately we caught a large group lunch with extremely noisy people - the indoor space isn't very big and it made the restaurant environment very uncomfortable.

Apart from that, the staff was nice and the food was great. Specially when taking in account its value (we paid 23€ for the 2 dishes depicted on the photos, drinks and coffee for 2).

ADORÁMOS! Foi um dia incrível. Não sentimos falta de nada, super completo com muito espaço para os miúdos se divertirem e para os convidados estarem à vontade. O facto de existirem 3 espaços distintos foi o máximo, pois o exterior tem uma vista fantástica, a zona de refeição estava maravilhosa, e o 3º espaço no nosso caso a zona para dançar foi um sucesso! Saliento o espaço magnifico, decoração melhor que esperava e comida sem nada a apontar estava tudo delicioso e uma apresentação excelente. O Carlos Lourenço a Ana e a restante equipa foram super atenciosos prestáveis, simpáticos e acessíveis, sempre disponíveis nas respostas e a superar as expectativas!
