Macedo's Bar — Restaurant in Póvoa de Varzim

My brother and I had dinner here in late March 23 while on the Camiño. We were delighted with the quality and value of our meals. Fernando hosted us like royalty and facilitated cordial interaction between tables. We met a pair of fellow pilgrims and some of the local folks as well. Tiago and his buddy were especially welcoming. As we were leaving we saw a mouthwatering pizza served up which confirmed our favorable opinion on the food. Bottom line: great food, reasonable prices, accommodating kitchen, fast service and a warm and welcoming...

Ich schreibe ungern negative Bewertungen, aber das möchte ich nun doch schreiben. Nach Stunden auf dem Caminho unterwegs, kam ich endlich in Rates an und war froh, auf dieses Restaurant zu stoßen. Aber ich wurde noch vor der Tür abgefangen und recht unfreundlich abgewiesen. Angeblich sei gerade geschlossen...Die Tür ging auf und es war zu sehen, das Gäste da sind. Eines muss ich aber doch zugute halten, denn immerhin würde ich an ein anderes Restaurant 200 Meter weiter verwiesen, wo ich die bisher erlebte portugiesische Gastfreundschaft auch wieder...

Fomos pessimamente recebidos por uma tal senhora muito antipatica fala agressivamente com os clientes vinhamos com a expetativa de comermos francesinha especial a informaçao que esta dita senhora e que nao tinha molho o molho ainda estava a fazer contrariedade de um nome como Macedos bar apresenta sempre um bons videos e convida para virem conhecer um valente fiasco como nao tinha francesinha especial disse que tinha a normal mas sem gosto a fazer saiu assim nas fotos desensabida e fria no final para pagarmos recusou o pagamento...
