First impressions of this place were very high. This warehouse conversion into a massive buffet restaurant features a huge veriety of seafood, meat and fish dishes as well as its own sushi station which a very good variety of food to suit every taste. The issue is however, the food was just bland. This is a classic case of quantity over quality as the food served here just did not meet the hype. The tepaniaki station had plenty of fish, meat and seafood however no noodles to accompany the dish. I would say however the dessert station definitely earned the second star here because they were in line with the traditional chocolate mouse and biscuit cake and Oreo cream dessert. However the jelly was far too dense and had no taste, Again, quantity over quality. As I went with the family, the kids were satisfied however learning that there was a surcharge for wastage when most of it was the kids. Fell short of a disappointment here. As for the atmosphere. There are some good points, the decor is outstanding cannot fault the setting and ambience but I will say that staff were not very helpful as I asked for a chocolate mouse to be added to the buffet as there were none left and the staff member asked me to ask someone else. For 10 euros ( lunch ), you can have all the food you can eat. I started with sushi. I could fit about 20 different kinds on my plate, and there were still many others I didn't try! All of them were very tasty; each had a different combination of fish, crab, wrap, and sauce. I filled my next plate with twelve or more small appetizer-like things: sesame roll, egg rolls, slices of various meat and fried fish, and many other things I've never seen. I enjoyed all but one. I went back for my third plate. This time I got some fried rice and lo mein noodles and covered them with Mongolian beef, General Tso's chicken, and garlic shrimp, among others. Delicious! My last plate was for dessert: custard cake, apple and pecan bread pudding, chocolate mousse, and one other thing I can't identify. Again, all were delicious! Restaurante amplo e com bastantes lugares sentados, dispõe também de vários estacionamentos no exterior pelo que encontrar lugar em qualquer situação, não será um problema. Staff acolhedor e simpático. PORÉM, até que ponto é justificável esse conforto se a qualidade não acompanha?! É o restaurante para o típico português que tem mais olhos que barriga e que prefere a quantidade á qualidade. O restaurante dispõe de 4 mesas de buffet: Mesa de sushi - com talvez uns 20 pratos com peças diferenciadas. Mas por diferente entende-se o mesmo sushi mas a variar com toppings de sabor doce, pepitas açucaradas e de chocolate, amêndoa e caramelo... enfim. A falta de noção estende-se muito nesse sentido. Para além que o peixe é desenchabido, provavelmente nem é fresco. Mesa da chapa - sem muito a apontar, com uma vasta variedade de alimentos para meter na chapa (já se sabe, tudo a saber ao mesmo e as conchas sempre com areia) e algumas saladas portuguesas frias. Mesa chinesa e de comida europeia - desde pão de alho a pizza a nuggets a algumas tentativas de reprodução de pratos comuns a nós, enfim, fica se muito a desejar na confecção dos pratos bem como no sabor que mesmo nos pratos chineses deixa muito a desejar. Por já acompanhar o restaurante desde os primórdios, vejo que há uma tentativa de inclusão e variedade - o que atenção, acho ótimo- mas infelizmente não acompanha na qualidade nem no sabor. O que aliás, creio ter vindo a piorar. Mesa das sobremesas - desde fruta a doces. A fruta sempre impecável, os doces sempre sabe se lá o que é que se está a comer. Na minha mais sincera opinião, não há o comum equilíbrio entre preço qualidade. O preço é ótimo para quem só quer encher o bandulho e ter uma dor de estômago durante horas. O resto, é resto.
