Beautiful little restaurant off the National road in Rubias. Got immediate service with a greeting from Jorge that will melt your heart. I am from Los Angeles and owned a restaurant for 7 years and also managed at some of the biggest restaurants in Marina Del Rey and Beverly Hills. This little gem is absolutely 5 stars. The chef perfectly cooked my steak. My girlfriend ordered the veal and it was tender and flavorful. The white wine was a perfect pair for the tender and naturally raised beef, even though most people pair reds with red meat. Just came back from dinner and feel ripped off. On the whole Camino through Spain, I haven't had an overpriced dinner like this. I've payed 16 euro's and what I got was an average soup. Not hot and no bread. The main course was an simple piece of cod, with some badly deep fried potatoes and a small cabbage stew. No dessert and just a small espresso. This was 14 euro's... I had pilgrim menu's twice the value for half of the price. So i don't know where the reviews are based on, but in my opinion it's not...

Possibly one of the rudest landlords I have experienced. The restaurant was empty but for three other guests (capacity: 80-100) and it was the end of lunch at 2:45pm (few other guests to be expected) yet the landlord took extreme exception to me sitting near the one plug socket he had to charge my phone over lunch to carry on my hike as that was a table for four.
