Restaurant Residential "Ze Galante" — Restaurant in Penamacor

Lady met us outside and we used hand language to ask if we could eat there. It was 7.30pm ish, I wouldn't try earlier. She helped us understand the menu and we were directed to a large indoor dining area- just us until later when a group of cork workers (all men but v jovial) and another couple sat in too. We were given bread, olives both good then chose salt cod and pork. Pork came with good chips, the cod was very salty and again bathed in olive oil with mini jacket potatoes (too much oil sorry Portugal). Pudding we be the had massive slice of plain ice cream with burnt sugar liquid poured over- should've shared 1 piece, it was delicious but v large. Beer was ok, water bottle mouldy. Lady did her best, she was shouted at by her family member which was a tad awquard . Best Portuguese meal...

Desloquei me a este restaurante com a minha esposa para almoçar hoje uma vez que não há muitas alternativas na área da restauração para quem está no Pedrógão a passar uns dias de ferias. Ao entrar, aguardamos um pouco que nos viessem receber. Entretanto, chega um grupo de 7 pessoas que sem ter reserva nos passa à frente. A minha esposa chamou a atenção para esse facto e aquele que julgo ser o Dono, disse com um tom de voz rude a roçar a ma educação que se tratava de uma reserva. Mas no tempo que estivemos á espera deu para perceber que não havia reserva alguma porque não havia mesas disponíveis para tantas pessoas.
