In my opinion, the pizza was enjoyable as it had a thick crust and was generously topped with plenty of cheese, which I personally like. While it may not have been the absolute best pizza I've ever had, it was still good. However, one downside was the waiting time of about 15-20 minutes just for someone to come and take our order. The restaurant was fairly crowded inside, and in such cases, it would be beneficial for them to have more waitstaff to provide prompt service. Location of the pizzeria is exhilarating! We googled the place and was 20 min by car (coming from the south west). If you are afraid of heights, don't go, otherwise you will have a thrilling time driving to it! The village was cozy, all locals, pizza is freshly made with fresh produce, small size is definitely enough for 1 person (pizza dough is 'pan' size and not crispy thin). I am a local and only come home once a year to visit family and friends. Every time I come to Madeira this place is a must visit. They have the best local dishes and amazing pizza, the house pizza with pulled beef is my favourite!
