The real 5 star experience DOES exist.
Very friendly people and staff, great food and good prices. The ambiance was great and the restaurant was clean and cosy.
During a big thunderstorm we lost power two times but that made things even more fun.
We were with a group of 8, the food came fast and we were asked plenty of times (but not too much) if we were good on drinks and we were ok with the side dishes (like olives and bread).
My girlfriend had a dessert she didn’t know what it was (dolce la casa, sweet of the house). The waitress stood and waited till she had her first bite and wanted to know if it was allright for her.
We had a wonderful time at Fonte da Pedra.

Followed by pork medallions with fig sauce for me served with vegetables and chips. It was gorgeous. Shaun had black pork with garlic and coriander served with rice and vegetables, delicious. The fish soup is the best we have had. The place is so good we went there again with a neighbour once again good food. The inside of the main restaurant is amazing filled with antique curios.
