A true hidden 💎.

I hesitate to rate this so high only for the reason that I don't want to have to wait for a table when it gets as popular as it deserves to be! 😊 Once people discover their food, I can imagine a queue for a table. Selfishly, I don't want to share, but they do such a wonderful job it's impossible not to tell everyone how good it is here.

Hidden down a small alley beside SEF, it's easy to never know it exists. They are very small, with only 3 tables outside and a couple inside. The servers and cooks are incredibly welcoming and kind, making the whole experience (especially the first time when we had no idea how it worked) lovely.

True Brasilian food, done with so much care. They grill all the meat absolutely perfectly. Seasoning is excellent. Freshness of all the ingredients can be tasted immediately. The sides are delicious, and you get a fair sized portion for the price.

However, the best part to me is finally a place to have chicken hearts! So far, it's the only restaurant in western Algarve that does this, and sometimes hearts can be difficult to cook right. These are the perfect consistency of soft and slightly chewy everytime.

It's really popular on Uber/Glovo apps, and the size definitely makes it seem like a take-away place. I've had much better experiences dine in than through delivery apps however. Eating it really fresh is the way to go.

One of my favourite restaurants in Portugal so far. Truly some of the best food Algarve has to offer, and well above other Brasilian churrasqueiras in the region. I...

I ate here because my local excellent restaurant down the street eas closed for the easter weekend. Pricing was steep for 2 people. At the place down the street I would have paid 30 euros which usually includes desert and a litre of vinho verde.

Lots of english reviews here, dont know why and it leaves me a little suspicious - the old trick is to attract english customers with english reviews because they'll supposedly think that food is good and cheap (compared to where they come from.) It doesn't work.

As for the experience, Servers: Friendly

Ambience: Slightly above average

Food: fries are frozen, "sirloin" steak appeared to be a much cheaper and very thin cut, and this considering it's brasilian who are known for tasty fire pit roasted meats; chicken cutlet was good.

Serving sizes: Tourist sized small portions - the fries were barely enough for one (they said the small bowl was for 2), and pretty much every other 2 person bowl was barely enough for one. This is a major 'beef' with me and these types of retaurants. Rice, fries etc are relatively cheap to make. To give you two bowls of rice / salad / fries will cost the restaurant an extra euro. Is it so important to antagonize the customers by giving them tiny sizes with an expensive (for Portugal) meal? Reviews can kill or make a restaurant.

I cook. Compared to my home cooking, this was a major dissapointment. Compared to other local restaurants, this is a tourist one, and definately NOT a "Eat where the...

It was my first time eating here, and it was very poor! I ordered rump steak and wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. I had to call the waitress over to tell her how I liked it cooked. One of us wanted rare; the other was well done. When the cracked wooden chopping board arrived with the steak on it, the waitress pointed out the well-done side of the board. She didn't need to point it out because both sides were cut so thinly and cooked over charcoal that it was like eating shoe leather! The meat was so dry and chewy. The side dishes were salad, which was on a tiny side plate but tasted okay. The chips were frozen chips! Shameful! The banana was not nice, and the black beans were edible. The quality of food is, sadly, very poor. The waitress saw my partner trying to add some oil to his meal and saw the bottle was empty, but she didn't offer to get him another bottle. We told the waitress about the meat being dry and that it tasted very bad. She just took the board away and didn't even apologise or offer any solution. I will never eat there again. Don't waste your money. Very cold inside the restaurant. Expensive...

Excellent experience! My husband and I were looking for a place nearby our hotel, and we decided to try Oliver Restaurante which was a great surprise, a Brazilian restaurant that reminded us from our infancy period. A tasty food, full of flavours and textures a true Brazilian Farm food experience, well served and a cozy environment. We ordered the silver board, as per picture attached, plus Torresmo which I forgot to take a picture of, but everything was prepared perfectly with love. We were delighted for being there. Thanks a million to all the team, extremely friendly and attentive, also including the dogs that made the reception.

Oliver offers the best Brazilian food I've ever had in Europe. The dishes, rooted in authentic "culinária mineira," are simply incredible. The staff at Oliver went above and beyond to make our lunch truly special with their genuine warmth and attentiveness. The restaurant itself is beautiful, both inside and out, with a cozy interior and an enchanting outdoor setting among the trees. If you want a true taste of Brazil, Oliver is the place to go.
