Muito existe a dizer sobre este lugar, mas em poucas palavras, tudo espetacular. O estabelecimento algo envelhecido da um ambiente retro, bastante calmo mesmo estando ao lado da estrada N125, pois de um lado a estrada, do outro, campos agriculas sem qualquer movimento. A comida é bastante boa. A sopa da pedra (especialidade da casa) é MUITO MUITO boa e bem confeccionada e bastante bem servida. 1 dose da para 2 pessoas ficarem "bem aconchegadas" Os valores são adequados e o serviço é 5 estrelas sempre feito pelo dono da casa, SR Herculino, sempre bastante simpático e atencioso, preocupado com o bem estar. Menu variado, desde pratos elaborados até às típicas sandes e snacks. Fazemos cerca de 120 km para vir comer a este lugar que nunca saimos mal servidos e sempre com promessa de uma nova vinda no futuro. Aconselho vivamente

Auf unserem Heimweg nach Lagos zufällig über die Google Maps-Suche mit Restaurants in der Umgebung entdeckt. Wirkt von außen sehr unscheinbar und nicht so einladend, aber die beiden Besitzer waren super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend - man hat ihnen richtig angesehen, wie sehr sie sich über Gäste gefreut haben. In so einem urigen Restaurant, mussten wir natürlich das traditionelle Piri Piri Hähnchen probieren, welches sehr lecker geschmeckt hat. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die "Vorspeise" (Oliven, Brot & Butter) waren sehr lieblos und die Oliven direkt aus dem Glas ohne Marinade etc. Außerdem hat das Essen ziemlich lange gedauert, dafür, dass wir die einzigen Gäste waren... Alles in allem ist "Sopa de Pedra" aber definitiv weiterzuempfehlen.

Al principio un poco de desconfianza por el sitio, un poco apartado de todo y el interior del local que es muy antiguo. Pero íbamos buscando eso, la Portugal profunda, la cocina Portuguesa de verdad. Comida de lo mejor que he comido en Portugal, lo que más me gustó: pollo al Piri piri, sardinas al carbón y sopa de pedra. La amabilidad y simpatía del dueño (Herculino) marca la diferencia, se nota que eso es su vida. Y para rematar, el precio, me parece insultantemente barato. Pagamos sobre unos 15€ por persona incluida la bebida. Súper recomendable.

Delicious food. Super friendly service from the husband and wife owners. The vegetable soup was delicious, thick and full of veggies. The Sea Bass was fresh and grilled perfectly. The Piri Piri Chicken was the bom!!! Mary makes her own Piri Piri marinade from her home grown peppers. She even cut some from her pepper bush to give us!
