We came here after our afternoon swimming in Seixal and the route to the restaurant was beautiful. We were welcomed with open arms. The staff, especially the girl with the red hair whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask, were very friendly and attentive. The kitchen was almost closing but we were still served the most amazing meals. I had the chicken prego and my boyfriend had the hamburger. Both were delicious. While we were waiting we were offered some local chicken soup which was phenomenal. If you go there and still have room for dessert I highly recommend the pineapple with Madeira and the key lime pie!! Overall I recommend this a 10/10 and wish we found it earlier during our trip so that we could go back another night!

Our favorite restaurant in all of Madeira! We were truly impressed by everything—the warm atmosphere, the beautifully designed interior, and even the stylish uniforms of the staff. We were also delighted by the thoughtful extras from the chef: chicken soup, wine, and even a cookie with our coffee (we laughed that the cookie alone would’ve been a wonderful touch, but this was even better!). Their specialty is espada, and we can confidently say it was the best we tried anywhere on the island. The garlic bread was also the tastiest we’ve had, and the desserts were simply amazing. We already can’t wait for our next trip to Madeira just to come back here!

The casa de Pasto Justiniano is situated in a calm rural area surrounded by mountains and little cabins. The restaurant is welcoming offering a restaurant area, an outside drinks area, and a playground. In the restaurant, you have breathtaking views of the mountains. Excellent service, staff are very attentive to your needs, and the food is divine. Offers a variety of menu and affordable prices. We ordered chicken and beef skewers and bolo do caco(Madeira special bread) and OMG the best I had. A complimentary special Madeira soup (canja) and a Madeira Wine were provided which added to the experience.
