Hands down the best espetada of Madeira. This is a hard title to achieve, but Teodorico gets it, and my family and me have been for years at the best places in Madeira and Porto Santo for it. Besides the soft, tasty, perfectly braised espetada, the fried corn is light and crunchy like no place else, the french fries are homecut and the bolo do caco is also soft and fluffy, unlike the often dense one finds. Most of these are not random, Teodorico and their secret family recipes have been around for decades. Service was outstandingly fast, kind and professional. The mountain views are peaceful.
