Hands down the best espetada of Madeira. This is a hard title to achieve, but Teodorico gets it, and my family and me have been for years at the best places in Madeira and Porto Santo for it. Besides the soft, tasty, perfectly braised espetada, the fried corn is light and crunchy like no place else, the french fries are homecut and the bolo do caco is also soft and fluffy, unlike the often dense one finds. Most of these are not random, Teodorico and their secret family recipes have been around for decades. Service was outstandingly fast, kind and professional. The mountain views are peaceful. A must go, with a mandatory stop at the windmill viewpoint on the way to see Porto Santo in an aerial view mode. Congratulations to the whole team.

Way out of the way, a back drop of 18th century abandoned terraced grain fields, this place has the best skewered meat and is what they are known for. Every table we see ordered it. Poncha is a native drink to try; sweet starter drink. The garlic bread is a must, The fried polenta was outstanding, the salad, just enough dressing, and don't miss the banana dessert. The owner is the iconic restarauntier, floating to each table, checking in with everyone, making sure you eat the dessert just right (smash into it!)

Although it is located, high in the mountains of the island so you need to rent a car or go by taxi, it is well worth it! The restaurant is rustic and offers amazing sights of the island. The typical “Espetada” is divine but the starters are also great! The staff were very friendly and communicative! Definitely an highlight on Porto Santo!

Super recommended. Discovered for chance, during a driving, we reserved a table for dinner. Best decision ever. They only serve two different meat dishes and they are amazing. The meat is delicious and it is cooked perfectly, melting in your mouth as soon as you try it. Me and my husband were positive surprised for this place and I would definitely recommend the place to anyone in...
