What looks like a local snack bar is a solid gem of a restaurant. The squid and shrimps were mayge the best I’ve ever had in my life (and this is not my first rodeo). And the hamburger was simple, and was made with the highest quality of ingredients. It was so flavorful on its own it took me aback and I was trying to figure out what seasoning they used until I realized it was just the quality of the meat. This place is across the street from the airport. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are reasonable. They have traditional Portuguese food along with burgers. I started with a vegetable soup with sausage. It was delicious. I had a chicken salad that came with grilled chicken, bacon, cheese, hard boiled egg, penne pasta, & lettuce. It was topped with a mayo dressing. I learned the locals like pasta in their salads.

Very nice surprise! Often in such locations (it's just in front of the airport) quality and service are not a priority because of the location benefits.
