Es ist zunächst ein steiler Anstieg, von dem Hinweisschild an der Levada, durch den kleinen Ort bis zur Bar. Wir haben dort den besten Cappucino auf Madeira getrunken, dazu leckeren selbstgebackenen Kuchen. Ich hatte ein Trinkgeld hinterlassen, da kam die Besitzerin und hat uns noch zwei Bananen geschenkt. Absolut empfehlenswerte Location.

A very local and welcoming bar high above Ribeira Brava in Tabua. It is a must stop for a bica, a poncha and a cake on our day trip in Madeira. The prices are very low, some extra is always left. Estefana is a talented, nice girl. Hope to be back many more times with our taxi-driver who sometimes borrow the accordian...
